A journey of Remembrance
Aramtala's Guiding values
GOLDEN STILLNESS.
A liminal space between two worlds of gold — the saffron fields and rosewater kitchens of Persia, and the tall, hushed light that falls through the majestic redwoods of Northern California. These places invite a similar lesson, through different languages: that stillness is not empty, but full. The way a forest holds silence amidst the breeze, the way a Persian garden holds its scent long after the flowers have blossomed.
THE STORY OF ARAMTALA
ARAMTALA WAS BORN FROM MY ANCESTORS, THOSE OF MY PERSIAN HERITAGE AND OF THE ANCIENT REDWOODS.
ARAM, THE PERSIAN WORD FOR STILLNESS.
TALA, THE PERSIAN WORD FOR GOLD.
ARAMTALA NAMES WHAT I HAVE ALWAYS KNOWN TO BE TRUE: THAT A GOLDEN QUIET LIVES WITHIN, WAITING PATIENTLY TO BE REMEMBERED.
THE JOURNEY
A remembrance
After a 20-year long career in law, a time came when I desired to return to a place I inhabited growing up--one where I could be more present and aware of the ways in which time seems to be still, quiet. Through my studies in the ancient wisdom practices of Ayurveda and Yoga Nidra, and through more deeply connecting with my lineage and heritage, I began to bring more awareness to the seasons in nature and those in my own life, seeking to create a deeper connection between the two. I am a Libra, my mother is a Libra, and I was raised in a mostly traditional Persian household-- beauty and balance have always been a part of my identity and what I enjoy offering to the world.
As my life's journey weaves through various paths, this remembrance of golden stillness remains my foundation, and settles even more deeply within me.
A RETURN
NESTING WITHIN MY HOME, MY BODY, MY MIND AND MY SPIRIT IS PART OF THE RITUAL OF BEAUTY AND BALANCE THAT I HAVE CURATED IN MY OWN LIFE, AND WHAT I DESIRE TO OFFER THROUGH ARAMTALA.
ARAMTALA IS A CONSIDERED AND INTENTIONAL WAY OF LIVING, A LIFESTYLE ROOTED IN BEAUTY AND BALANCE.
THROUGH CONSUMING MORE CONSCIOUSLY, WE CAN SUPPORT WOMEN ARTISANS, WE CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE BETTERMENT OF THE EARTH. THIS IS A PRACTICE ROOTED IN DEVOTION TO RITUAL, THE RITUAL OF OILING THE BODY, BREWING TEA, SETTING A TABLE FOR A SHARED MEAL. EACH ACT SERVING TO TEND TO SELF AND, IN PARALLEL, TENDING TO COMMUNITY AND EARTH.
THESE OFFERINGS HAVE BEEN CURATED FROM MY HEART AND SPIRIT WITH THE HOPE THAT YOU RETURN TO YOUR NATURE, A REMEMBRANCE TENDED TO WITH GOLDEN STILLNESS.
